This is the view of the back of the house we rented in Kekaha. Although hard to see,
Natalie is standing on the lanai. The hills in the background  are sugarcane fields that
lead up to Waimea Canyon.

This is the Kilauea lighthouse on the north shore (the wetter and greener side of the
island). The area around the lighthouse is a national wildlife refuge. We stayed about
2 coves away from the lighthouse.
